PROTECT RURAL GWINNETT
Overdevelopment Threatens the Rural Communities
Rural Gwinnett seeks to raise awareness and rally the community in order to preserve and protect the rural way of life within Gwinnett County. Developers seek to change the character of our community by developing high density neighborhoods without regard for the strain on the community, traffic increases, and the threat to our children's education by overloading the schools.

You Can Make a Difference!
We are working hard to preserve our way of life and maintain the rural character of our community, but we need your help. Volunteers keep our mission alive and fight against the takeover of rural land by greedy developers. Help us put a stop to over development by spreading the word, collecting petition signatures, donating to our cause, or representing us at events around Gwinnett. No matter your availability or ability, there is always a way that you can help!

We Need Your Help!
Attend the Rezoning Hearings

Wear red to all commission hearings as a show of unity!
Having a strong showing of concerned citizens catches the attention of both the Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners. With enough opposition, the Commissioners will need to either deny or significantly restrict the plans of overzealous developers.
Volunteer

Helping The Community
We are in need of volunteers who are willing to pass out flyers, collect petition signatures, research through public records, make calls to local authorities, and spread the word about our movement. Any time and energy you can lend will make a difference for our community!
Donate

Help Fund our Efforts
We are collecting donations to fund outreach efforts and open new opportunities to get the most help for our cause. All donations will go directly to the opposition of overdevelopment in our community through advertisements and literature, fees for attorney or expert advisement, and other efforts to spread the word.
* Cammie Wages Rd. rezoning tabled until Sept.!
